Taking Flight

In April 2022, I was completely drawn in by a friend's beautiful singing voice, and that became the spark for my composition, "Taking Flight." Moved by the emotional depth of their voice, I immediately found myself at the piano, where the first notes of the main theme started to come together.

Inspired by my friend’s singing, I dove into the process of orchestrating the piece. The title, "Taking Flight," came naturally, suggested by the very person who inspired it.

As the music took shape, I wanted to deepen its emotional impact. I started looking for royalty-free videos to pair with the piece, choosing visuals that would complement the uplifting and romantic feel of the music. My goal was to create a multisensory experience that would really resonate with listeners.



Around the same time, I met a talented oboist and realized how perfectly the oboe’s unique sound fit into the piece. I added several oboe solos, which brought a new layer to the music and blended beautifully with the themes of triumph and romance.
